Fresh Red Plums – More Antioxidants Than Red Wine

According to an article posted by Israel21c, studies done at Israel’s Volcani Institute have shown that you don’t have to drink red wine with your meal anymore. If you eat a fresh red plum while eating, that plum knocks out the oxidizing agents found in 7 ounces of red meat.

Not only that – the levels of antioxidants they found in red plums are 3-5 times higher than the antioxidants available in pomegranates, red wine, apples and bananas.

So now it’s up to you – but for best results, eat it with the meal.

Alcohol During IVF Substantially Decreases Success of Becoming Pregnant

Why any woman would be drinking alcohol while trying to become pregnant isn’t the point of this article. Numerous studies have proven the risks of any alcohol consumption to the developing fetus.

But this is information about couples undergoing IVF, in-vitro fertilization. For those men and women, abstaining from alcohol is a must. Yes, men as well as women have been advised to limit alcohol consumption. Men are told to limit beer, women are advised to limit white wine.

“Couples who shared slightly more than one bottle of wine a week reduced their chance of a baby through the treatment by 26 per cent, according to a new study.”
